Green Bay Family Extravaganza

I had so much fun yesterday! Three lucky kids got to make Super Spread Sandwiches during the Budding Chefs demonstration, but more were able to make them at the booth....we didn't have an outlet there, though, so we couldn't use the food processor and had to use a little extra muscle using the Tupperware Chop and Prep.  It was still good; just not quite as smooth.

I met so many wonderful parents and children.  I can't wait to have some of you in class!

This picture is actually 3 pictures "stitched" together using my new Iphone App...Autostitch.  It works great for making panoramic pictures.  It's a little blurry, I was in a hurry and wasn't using the Stabilizer option.

What's For Dinner: Organic Spaghetti and Meatballs

The smell of garlic again!  MMM!  Tonight we made a very versatile organic tomato sauce.  The recipes for the sauce and the meatballs are from one of my favorite go-to books:  "Petit Appetit: Eat, Drink and be Merry" by Lisa Barnes.  Available Here.  Since I am not a tomato-grower myself, I like to use Pomi brand tomatoes since they come in a carton, not a BPA-lined can.  Just my preference, especially when making food for young children.

The mini-meatballs were very good.  We made a lot, and they were all gone...with me eating the last one!
